Cement, water, and foam, created from our GeniusCrete™ foaming agent and ordinary water in a specially designed GeniusCreteFoamer™. The result of this mixture is a foam that is flows easily and requires little skill with which to work. Different grades and densities are made by adjusting the amount of GeniusCrete™ foam added to the mix. A home builder can easily make a lighter mix that has less strength but much higher insulation capacity, or a thicker mix that offers more strength but lower thermal transmission.
How’s this for a comparison.
For structural, steel reinforced applications, GeniusCrete™ is used in densities ranging from 1,200 to 1,400kg/m3. Thanks to billions of micro-sized and uniform air bubbles, GeniusCrete™ offers 500 percent – yes five times – more thermal insulation and substantially higher fire rating than conventional concrete.
A wall of conventional concrete, in order to offer the same thermal insulation, would have to be five times thicker and use ten times more materials, such as sand, gravel, and cement, to produce!

GeniusCrete™ and GeniusCreteWalls™ offer exceptional fire resistance and are ideal in geographic regions where fire is a risk, such as in California with its risk of deadly wildfires. Tests have shown that prolonged, high-energy flames applied to the GeniusCreteWall™ does not cause concrete to explode, making it ideal for use in fire safe vaults. Tests show that GeniusCrete™ of 150 mm width can protect from fire for up to four hours.
Today, many solutions to fire rating are costly. Sandwiching gypsum board sheathed in a fire-resistant material, or oriented strand board, may meet the needs of fire codes, but it is costly. Also, it may meet needs of fire resistance on paper, but fails to match the results offered by GeniusCrete™.
While some building materials sacrifice other traits to obtain the fire ratings, GeniusCrete™ does not. The air embedded in GeniusCrete™ will absorb both airborne sound and impact sound. And it is so strong that hitting it with a hammer can’t penetrate the GeniusBoard™.
This makes panels with GeniusCrete™ ideal for flooring in multi-floor buildings, and for sound retention walls on highways, roads, or railroad tracks.
